A completely enclosed gear box helps minimize exposure of vital operating gears to corrosion. The combination of a simple system with an enclosed gear box plus heavy duty frame construction will hold maintenance to an absolute minimum and improve your PROFITS at the same time.

PTO_SpreaderThe Adams A-81 Spreader has a much heavier frame and hitch than other spreaders. The frame is made of 2” x 6” rectangular steel using 1” plate steel for the hitch assembly with reinforced gussets. Six-hole hubs are standard with 304 Stainless Steel hopper assemblies and the A-81 is available in 4, 5, or 6 ton capacities.

Adams spreaders have much lower hoppers than most other spreaders allowing the operator to see into the hopper. This feature also provides better balance and easier pulling on the highway. The hopper is sloped at both ends and sides to permit the fertilizer to slide down the well.
